Yes I do, I love socialist era architecture, I have a few in the works. Plan on spitting out a few pieces after xmas is over. follow my facebook if you have one, I update more on there.. www.facebook.com/avargaart
Very beautiful! An amazing futuristic cityscape in its own right, and the fact that it is supposed to be a future socialist society is just the icing on the cake.
However, other than the flags, there isn't anything in the picture that says "Soviet" or "socialism" to me. This could be a city of any futuristic society that happens to use red flags. Of course, if you're going to ask me, "so how do I put more socialist-looking things in the picture?", my answer is going to be that I don't really know...
thank you for the comment! I see where you are coming from..maybe this piece is more communist? I was aiming to show a very structured and controlled city. Notice very few people, and only 3 aircrafts. I wanted to emulate North Korea in a way, but they are communist. Either way, glad you like it!
Very nice) Just an advice: Soviets used red and gold color schematics on their banners, insignias etc; red and white here in Russia are assosiated with Nazbols (National Bolsheviks) party, rather then "old-school" Soviet gov)
